Item
1 (Create Alias):
This will be the address of the alias/forward that you wish
to setup.
Item
2 (Goes to these mailboxes):
If you want to direct the mail for this alias to an existing
mailbox or multiple mailboxes, select these from this list.
Item
3 (And/Or):
If you want to direct the mail for this alias to
a remote location, this is where you would enter the recipient's
email address - example: Bob has a email address at his ISP
and really does not want to be bothered with checking multiple
email accounts, so you setup "bob.jones@youdomain.com"
and forward it to bobsemail@athisisp.com
Item
4 (Discard):
You may find that you're receiving a lot of spam to this particular
email address, so you can tell our server simply to delete
the mail arriving for this alias and not bother you with it.
You can
also tell an alias to send mail to more than one recipient.
In order to do this, you need to create the alias with the
first recipient first, and then modify the alias once it exists.
Once you've made your selection,
go ahead and click "Create Alias".
Your setting will take affect immediately.
