Keeping your contact information current for your domain name is
probably the most important responsible act that you can do while
using the Internet.
If your information is not correct, you will have many problems
trying to do anything with your domain name - such as move it to
WeDoHosting.com
- or even worse - moving it away.
Additionally, renewal notices may not make it to you and you risk
the possibility of your domain name expiring - and being locked
by your registrar for 30 days. Once your domain name is locked,
some places charge up to $170 USD to unlock it and get it up on
the Internet again.

management system for you to review and update your domain information
if registered through us. If you have lost your username and password
there is an online retrieval service on the webpage.
If your domain name is not registered through WeDoHosting.com,
please contact your registrar directly and ensure that your information
is current - a little maintenance will save hours - or even days
of aggravation down the road.

1. Email Address Changes

As of September 25, 2003, CIRA has introduced a new process for
"ManualChange of Administrative Contact" (MCAC). The details
for CIRA's new process can be found at http://www.cira.ca/en/documents/q3/ManualChangeOfAdminContact-1.0-en.doc
CIRA now requires one of two forms to be submitted when requesting
an email address change. The form selected depends on whether the
registrant is an individual or an organization.
If the registrant is an individual, photo identification for the
registrant is required. If the registrant is an organization, the
form must be printed on the organization'sletterhead and photo identification
for the administrative contact is required.
The appropriate forms must be submitted to Tucows and we will submit
all valid requests to CIRA for processing.
